Berms vs. Flat corners - should you treat them differently ?

Cornering on berms gives us an "opportunity" to be a bit more laid back with our skills.
Why?
The berm offers us more support, as the bike is leaned into the corner - the ground stays flat relative to the bike, that means we can ride berms faster with more grip when compared to flat corners.
This is why we can be a bit less strict on berms, but is that a good habit?
Our recommendation is to use berms as if they are flat corners, leaning the bike more than leaning the body, for these reasons:
You maintain good habits cornering in general.
It will give you more flexibility within the corner.
You can still enjoy all the benefits of the berm.
This doesn't mean that leaning bike and body into the berm is a mistake - it can work great, but we believe creating habits that are consistent and treating all corners as equal can simplify your riding.
